Progress!
Well it has been a crazy 1st month opening up my business and it has been a lot of work, but I am LOVING every minute of it. Within the first month of opening my doors I have already seen 4 clients, written an article for an online magazine, Celiac Corner, have planned a nutrition seminar on October 27th, am now a provider of the ALCAT food sensitivity test, and am participating in the First Annual Roswell Health and Wellness Expo! Whew! Thank goodness I have the help of an intern from Life University, because let’s face it, I would not sleep if I did not have help!
I am so excited about what is to come… I know it takes time and clients are not going to be busting down the doors so we shall see what the future holds. I am going to do everything I can to build my practice to the best of my ability.
Challenges
The biggest challenge that I am facing now is getting people that are coming into the Pilates/ Wellness studio that I am working out of to really value what I am bringing to the table. I feel like they think I am just another nutritionist giving diet advice and I AM SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT! Any suggestions?? I am written pieces for them on the difference between an RD and a nutritionist, I have sat down and given just a few tips here and there to some people here and they are like WOW really… but then they do not take advantage. I knew this would be a challenge for me and I am TOTALLY up for it, so any suggestions from my fellow bloggers would be awesome!
I have also started a monthly nutrition e-newsletter… I am having trouble putting the sign up widget on here, but I will HAPPILY add you to the EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION LIST if you are interested in the FREE advice I will be providing through email!
Well- that is all for now, I just figured I would share my progress and achievements thus far with only being physically open for almost 1 MONTH!
