Colleen changed my life forever.
I felt like I was dying. Physically dying. Everything was wrong. I will never be the same after this experience. I will be eternally grateful to whatever power in the universe brought us together to do this work.

She looks at it from a holistic standpoint and a lot of other nutritionists that I've worked with don’t do that.
I am a busy, working mom of two. I thought I was eating healthy but still had really inconsistent energy levels as well as a very sensitive GI tract. I went through the MRT and within the second week of the phase plan, I felt completely different. My goals were never to lose weight but that just naturally happens whenever you really focus on the foods that are really good for your body.
I learned a lot about my body, which foods I tolerated well, what gave me a lot of energy and what made my stomach hurt. I had my third child last year and I could just tell the foods that I was used to eating weren’t sitting so well with me anymore.
After speaking with Colleen, she said it is common after pregnancy and other major life changes that people’s bodies can change. We did another MRT and sure enough, she was right! Some of my go to foods had changed. We went back through the phase plan again and, of course, the second time around was as good as the first. It was always a lot easier too. You already know what the rules are, but I noticed I felt better even quicker the second time around.
Colleen is so real and authentic. She practices what she preaches and lives this day to day herself. You can definitely tell that when you're working with her. People’s diets are very personal to them and she has a way of opening up, really listening and being very personable about whatever questions people have.
I have worked with other dietitians and nutritionists on the professional level. A lot of people still preach the food pyramid or the food plate and Colleen has just a different way of looking at it. Hers is very science based, which I appreciate. She looks at it from a holistic standpoint and a lot of other nutritionists that I've worked with don’t do that.
I like to, at times, use myself as a guinea pig. As an example, I just did the Whole 30 program just to see how my body responds. I’m very active and I take a lot of Pure Barre classes, so for me, food is really a fuel. I just wanted to test and see how I felt after going through the Whole 30. I have to say that the MRT was much better and much more specific to my body than the Whole 30. Although I was eating very healthy foods, I still had a lot of GI problems.
I think we need more people like Colleen in the world. I just think of my children and the next generation. They just announced on the news yesterday that there was a child that is two years old with Type 2 Diabetes. There is such a lack of knowledge and awareness of what people are putting in their bodies. It’s so scary.
Colleen is a leader in this and we need to help others pay attention to what they're putting in their bodies. Maybe 20 or 30 years down the road, they won’t have to be paying so much for medications.

I liked the group process because I was able to learn from other people in the group, but it was still very individualized.
Before starting the group program, I knew very little about healthy nutrition. I was brand new. I had painful joints, IBS symptoms for almost my entire life and thought this might be something I could try to help with some of my ailments.
I liked the group process because I was able to learn from other people in the group, but it was still very individualized. It pertained specifically to my individual needs. I thought certain foods had caused me problems for many years.
I found out in a matter of weeks that what I thought was completely incorrect. This was the most astounding thing that came out of the program for me. It’s very hard to change certain behaviors, but when I go to the grocery store, I now buy what I’m supposed to eat.
It really has changed my whole outlook on everything I put into my body. I now recognize that it’s not “just me” it’s what I eat. If I eat the correct foods I don’t feel bad…at all!
I’m a nurse practitioner and I had a lack of knowledge where nutrition is concerned. I appreciated the fact that Colleen was knowledgeable and helpful. She was easy to talk to, very accommodating, interested and enthusiastic about what she was doing for me.

Colleen was really invested in my success.
When I started Colleen’s program, I was feeling a little depressed. I didn’t even realize it at the time. I had been having a lot of food related symptoms and was really unhappy with the work that I was doing. I was definitely ready for a change but I didn’t have a clear idea of where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do.
The best thing about working with Colleen is that she is really focused on results and helping you feel better immediately. Within a short while of working together, I lost about 10 pounds. I was feeling so much better. After a couple of months of working together, I actually made the decision to leave my, full-time corporate job, and start my own business. That’s not something that I ever would have done before I worked with her.
The testing component was very scientific and different from working with a dietitian in the past. Having that piece of information was really key to getting the ball rolling. Once we knew what my body did and didn’t like, Colleen was able to design a plan that would actually work for me with foods that I wasn’t sensitive to. It was really nice to have that piece of information as a starting point and then be able to move from there into the point where I was feeling so much better.
Colleen was really invested in my success. I felt like she truly cared whether I did well or not. She was very open and very caring. It was a really positive experience. Things have really taken a positive turn for me and I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity to work with her.

When I started with Colleen I was really frustrated. I was not able to lose weight and had a lot of body and joint pain. I had monthly migraines, really bad sinus infections and allergies. Nothing I did was working. I tried Weight Watchers, counting calories and giving up meats. It worked for a little bit, but it was nothing I could maintain. My body was not a fan.
Working with Colleen was a really great learning experience. I felt like sometimes my body wasn’t functioning, and I was just so used to it not functioning that I didn’t realize it was a problem. I learned how to listen to my body and treat food as fuel and medicine and take care of myself based on what nutrition my body needs while still enjoying life.
My program was tailored to my body’s specific needs. It was the first time that weight loss wasn’t the prime focus. The goal was getting my body to be healthy first, resulting in weight loss and more energy. She was there to guide me and remind me of how far I’d come. It feels like my body reacts positively to every suggestion she’s given me. Colleen rocks! I really feel like I am able to make a whole life change and forever grateful.

The program has helped me shift my way of fueling
When I started this program I felt like I was pretty healthy but indulged too much at times. In retrospect, I was indulging way more than I realized. I felt decent, but felt like I could feel better. I got headaches occasionally and was often gassy without knowing why. I also just wanted to know more about what is healthy for my body instead of trying to figure it out on my own.
The program has helped me shift my way of fueling to think more about eating foods that will help my body thrive rather than just fill it. I also did not realize how much variety we really need to give our body. I'm still working on giving it a variety and not relying on the same foods.

I have more energy, my clothes are fitting better and I have lost weight.
I am a 53-year-old woman going through “the change”. My lifestyle has always included good eating habits, exercise, and plenty of outdoor sports. I have been active all my life and now that “the change” has hit I have become more aware of my body changes inside and out and what I was doing “before” is not working now.
I contacted Colleen to help me make better choices in my “healthy life style”. Colleen advised me to keep a food journal for a few weeks as well as my activities, so I did and presented her with this challenge.
Help me! I feel tired, I have stomach issues, not much interest in exercise, I am going about my daily routines without out much gusto, and generally feeling run down. Why is this I asked her…
Colleen graciously reviewed my journal, recommended I change a few things I was eating, suggested some vitamins to see how that worked, first. Did I feel a little better…I guess, the constant dull headache went away, but now it was time to get into the rest of the reasons why I did not feel 100%.
I took a food sensitivity test and to my surprise a lot of my “healthy eating” go-to foods were high on my sensitivity level. Since I have eliminated my reactive foods from my daily intake and added choices that I can tolerate I feel 100% better.
My bloating feeling is gone, I have more energy, my clothes are fitting better and yes, the bonus is that I have lost weight.
I continue to follow the plan that Colleen has worked on for me, I know I was a big challenge for her, but I appreciate Colleen’s professionalism and passion for a healthy lifestyle and her extensive knowledge in dietetics and nutrition.
I highly recommend her services and Colleen is such a pleasure to work with. I look forward to continuing to working with Colleen. Thank you.

Colleen is a Dietician I trust.
Colleen has been such a huge help with working around some allergies that I have recently uncovered and transitioning to a more plant-based diet.
I am so thankful for her willingness to go the extra mile to answer any questions or concerns that I have whether they be big or small.
I have recently started dancing in a well-known Canadian company and she helped me revamp my eating plan to better suit my needs, keep me at my strongest, and keep my body in competitive dance shape.
She helped me get through my first tour abroad and she has helped me determine some of the “facts from the fiction” in the nutrition world.
I know that my diet will always be a “work in progress,” slightly tweaking to fit my needs, and Colleen is a Dietician I trust to provide me with the knowledge to do so.

She has given me the tools to conquer this dietary change for a lifetime. I am forever grateful to her.
I have been fighting eczema and allergies since I was a child. In my 20s, my esophagus started closing when I ate. I went to several doctors and specialists trying to figure out what was wrong. They all kept throwing meds my way.
The condition persisted to the point that I had to have emergency surgery to open my esophagus. I was then diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Here come more meds. I was told I was allergic to something but the Gastroenterologist, Dermatologist, Allergist and Internal Med could not tell me what. Nor could they order a test to pin point it.
A couple months later I saw a post on Facebook about Colleen so I reached out to her. I emailed her my story and got a response within 24 hours. She said she knew exactly what I was going through as she had been there herself.
We ordered the blood test and found out that I am allergic to wheat. Wheat allergies can cause Dermatitis Herpetiformis “aka” the gluten rash and EE. I was extremely relieved to know that we had found the root of my problems.
I am actively trying to live a gluten free lifestyle. It is a major adjustment that keeps tricking me. I know it will take a while to get it down to a science. I have a ways to go but am in a much better place now that I have the results.
Colleen was very helpful in our coaching sessions, providing menus and recipes and following up with me on a weekly basis. She has given me the tools to conquer this dietary change for a lifetime. I am forever grateful to her.

I am thankful every day for Colleen’s help and her continual support whenever I need her.
In the Fall of 2011, I started a gluten free lifestyle after suffering from exhaustion, severe stomach pain and not feeling like my normal upbeat self.
After a year of being gluten free, I was clueless as to why I started feeling my old symptoms again, along with some new symptoms.
I knew it was time to meet with Colleen and figure out what was going on inside my body. When I first met with her, I felt like I could tell her anything about myself! She was extremely compassionate and reassured me that she could help me regain my energy with the appropriate diet for my body!
When I left her office, I had a small stack of recipes, products and information and I felt empowered about my lifestyle changes! She encouraged me to take the food sensitivity test and I was absolutely shocked at how accurate the results were!!
Within three days of avoiding foods that showed up on my results, I felt remarkably better! I am thankful every day for Colleen’s help and her continual support whenever I need her. She is very knowledgeable and she has a sincere interest in helping others. I have referred friends and family to Colleen and I will continue to do so!

I feel better than I have in 20 years!
I started suffering from food allergies about 20 years ago. It started with stomach ailments (diarrhea, constipation, cramping) It would come and go over the years.
After my second child was born, I stared having joint pain, fatigue, depression, anxiety, rashes, headaches, more GI problems. Doctors diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and I learned to deal with it.
Last year the GI problems became so bad that I just could not deal with it anymore. I now had to add perianal itching to my list and this was unacceptable.
After seeing some doctors that could not help me, I saw Colleen. She ordered the MRT testing and I had multiple allergies. She worked with me for 12 weeks to modify my diet to avoid these allergens and still get the nutrition my body craved.
It has been over 6 months since we changed my diet. I have decreased my medications dramatically. I feel better than I have in 20 years.
Started a work out program with a personal trainer. (I would never have even dreamed I could work out this hard again.) No more depression or anxiety.
I only have GI upset if I mess up with my diet and I usually can figure out where I went wrong. I have so much more energy I find myself looking for things to do. I am enjoying life again and that is worth every penny and tear I shed over the loss of the foods that were slowly killing me. Thank you so much Colleen!

She was a miracle worker!
I honestly enjoyed Colleen. Our interactions were always fun and engaging and she made me feel important and always answered my questions and gave me as much time as I needed or wanted–and I ask A LOT of questions!
I would recommend Colleen to anyone who is serious about changing their diet and lifestyle and/or losing weight. She caters the program to you specifically, and she changed my perspective and my life.
Considering (i) the fact that I only ate 5-10 foods regularly before meeting her (most of them fried or containing gluten) and (ii) that diet had been pretty steady for 30+ years, most folks that know me would tell you that she was a miracle worker!

I have lost over 30 pounds and I feel like a new person.
I was suffering from numerous symptoms after a terrible case of mono that attacked nearly every system in my body. I had headaches, muscle aches, panic attacks, severe bloating, dizziness, and nausea and was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Prior to mono, I had a long history of heartburn, IBS, seasonal allergies and anxiety. I saw several specialists and had several tests done.
Everyone told me that there was nothing medically wrong with me and to take some antacids. I specifically asked if something I was eating could be making me sick, but they all said no. I started to become very frustrated and depressed because I felt nobody was listening to me.
I heard about food sensitivity testing and found Colleen’s website through an online search. It was so refreshing to speak to someone who actually listened to me and was confident she could help. She was genuinely excited to take on the challenge.
When my blood work came back, it was a little overwhelming at first. There was definitely a grieving period over saying goodbye to some of my favorite foods. I worked hard to stick to the plan and, almost immediately, my bloating issues and liver pains were gone! I no longer have anxiety, I sleep better, headaches are gone and my allergies have improved greatly.
She even managed to combat my stubborn heartburn. I have lost over 30 pounds and I feel like a new person. It is hard work to make this kind of lifestyle change, but you definitely get out what you put in. Colleen was with me every step of the way and always had a solution to every problem. She literally changed my life and I look forward to living it!

When I first started working with Colleen, I was feeling pretty awful, desperate and am so glad I made the call to you for help.
I feel so much better, I know I can be even better but I have to stay focused and do the work. My biggest shift was just realizing what I was putting into my body so mindlessly, once I was more aware I was amazed how much better I felt. The experience of working with you was Wonderful!!! The first chat that you reminded me of my Aunt, so full of wisdom and so easy to talk with. Even when I had a not so good week by the end of our talk I was rejuvenated and ready to try again. You did not judge me or make me feel bad, you made me feel really normal and ok. I am so grateful to have had this experience and tell everyone who will listen about you and your work. You have so much knowledge to share and explain things in such a way that everyone can understand.
